Add hand weights to your traditional pilates routine for a challenging total body workout that will create strength and definition from head to toe.
TRX suspension training is a nylon webbing system with handles and foot cradles. The TRX uses your own body weight against gravity to increase strength, stability and endurance. As it’s suspended, it requires a great deal of core work to stabilize your movements against the forces of gravity. Challenge yourself in a new way by taking your pilates practice onto the TRX and incorporating even more variety into your workouts.
This fun and exciting workout combines the techniques of pilates, yoga and dance conditioning to create a flowing routine that challenges the strength and stamina of the entire body. Small props are incorporated to create a powerful workout and a strong and graceful body.
Small Group Circuit Training
Challenge your body through a combination of intervals on various Pilates apparatus including the reformer, arc barrel, rotational discs, fitness circle, stability cushions and bosu. These tools will help improve not only core stability and strength, but also balance and coordination.
These are semi-private sessions. Group size is kept small with a maximum of 4 students per instructor to allow for individual attention. If you already have a group of 2, 3 or 4 people that you would like to work out with, or, if you are interested in joining a group, contact Sherry at 403-320-1781.
